Believe it or not you can earn from these websites

It's been a while since I created a post about homebased opportunities. Been busy these past few months. Finally I'm back to share these websites with you.

I know a lot of you don't have the courage yet to be in this industry. Sometimes due to consistent failure from your application you felt that it's not for you.

But let me tell you that having an employer online is not the only option for you to earn online. Of course like what I mentioned in my previous post, you can be a freelance writer which you can write in your own time,  and many more. (I'll post more about these topics soon, promise)

You can also answer surveys and do some online small tasks which can give you an income. No need for resume or interview. Although it's not that much and can't be compared to having a "real job" or "employer", at least you can have an "extra income". Again, the income for these survey websites is not that much. Just enough maybe to pay the bills depending on your hard work.

In this post I will focus on survey websites that you can earn easily.

What do you need for these survey websites?

You will only need a working email address for sign up or facebook account (in timebucks.com) and also paypal account for safer and easy transfer of your income.

Below are the two survey websites which I found that really pays. Just click sign up. You can start as soon as possible.

1. Timebucks.com

This one is my favorite and I personally earned from this one. There are also many ways to earn in this website.

TimeBucks is a reward site where you can earn real cash for performing various tasks and activities that you already do everyday. You can earn cash from doing things such as taking surveys, watching videos, voting, installing free apps, playing games, performing web searches and much more! TimeBucks is unique from other reward sites because they pay in real cash, not gift cards. They also pay weekly via PayPal with a low minimum payout of $10. With TimeBucks, you get your own dedicated account manager to help you earn as much cash as possible!

2. ZenSurveys.com

ZenSurveys is a platform where you can get access to 1000s of top quality surveys.

Working at Home vs. Homebased Jobs

You're reading this article because you want to learn more about homebased jobs or probably researching what it really feels like working at home.

I got to tell you, if you want to work homebased because you want to escape the traffic, the office gossips and other curricular activities, if you dreamed of working right after you wake up never minding what dress to wear? Well working homebased will be really enticing for you.

BUT..

You must really know what working at home really means first.

Working homebased is not a get rich quick scheme. It is basically an ordinary work which you should have your own work station or home office. It doesn't mean networking either. Because a lot of people out there think that when you are working homebased you are just part of a networking program.

It's a BIG NO.

Professionally, homebased jobs are real jobs. You will apply for it like an ordinary job opening, sometimes there's an interview or test to measure your skills and then you'll sign a contract. Your employer is from overseas. The salary might be in your local currency or theirs.

There are some company with probation period also which if you don't passed they will end your contract. There's a monthly evaluation also to some. The good thing is, like in an office job there's also benefits to 'some' company or employer like bonuses, paid leaves, all paid team buildings, Christmas party, salary increase, birthday paid leave, sick leave, health insurance and more. But do not generalized these to all companies. Some offers the same a lot don't have any.

NOTE: You don't need to pay even a single centavo when you're applying for a real homebased job. When someone ask you for a membership fee, pay for getting the job, pay for using the system etc. anything that is monetary, RUN. It's a scam.

On the other hand..

Literally, working at home is simply working while you're at home. You might have an online business, or you are an agent from a real estate company using your skills in getting leads through facebook etc.

But you must understand, working at home and real homebased jobs are different. In homebased jobs you have your own employer just like an office job.

What do you need to start hunting for a homebased job?

1. Your updated resume.
2  email address
3. Sign up to those online job portals.
4. Have your laptop/personal computer ready. core i3 or higher for laptop is better. For personal computer core2duo with 2gb ram is okay. If higher much better.
5. Your internet speed must be 2mbps or higher. There's a 50/50 chance that employer would hire lower than that speed and also it should be DSL not wireless. If you want a higher chance of being hired take note of this.
6. Make sure you have your webcam and microphone/headset working properly. This is incase the employer needs to interview you via video/voice call.
7. Skype account. This is the usual and very common requirement. For interviews and everyday communication when you're hired.
8. Work station. Make sure that your work station  is neat and quiet.
9. Paypal account. This is the most common way to receive your salary or payment. I will write an article about this soon.

Next time I will share to you a real voice interview for homebased jobs and the common mistakes you might make and how to avoid them and get the job.

1.Determining What Product to Sell
Determining what product to sell is the very first thing you should consider if you’re starting your business. This is also called determining your niche or what category of product you want to sell.
  1. Product Quality
  2. You should consider also if you’re going for a retail store or whole sale store.

2. Finding Reliable Supplier
  • Once you already decided what product to sell you should find a very reliable supplier. And when I say “reliable” should be very reliable.
  • Consider also if you’re going to buy supply as bulk/wholesale, retail/per piece or drop ship.

3. Inventory
  • Making sure you have proper amount of stocks on hand will be the great ingredient for a faster delivery and negotiating quantity with your clients.

5. Shipping – Courier and Cost
Here are the lists for known shipping companies in the Philippines:

  4. Etc.

Note:
Depending on the location of your client, size of your item and type of courier service the amount of shipping fees will varies. But they have pick up service. They will get your item from your address, without you going to their branches

6. Marketing
This is the part where you will choose how you will present your product to the public. Remember “first impression lasts”. The pictures and packaging should be desirable. Your response to inquiries should be polite and quick always. You need to promote in order for them to know your product exist.
  1. Packaging

7. Permits
To avoid any problem, even if you’re just starting with your business you must consider getting the necessary permits.

  1. DTI Certificate – To register your Business Name
  2. Barangay Business Certificate
  3. Mayor Business Permit
  4. Register your business to BIR to get your O.R. (Official Receipt)

  1. Product
  2. Supplier
  3. Inventory
  4. Store
  5. Shipping plans
  6. Marketing Plans
  7. Permits

9 After Sales Service
  • After sales service is the most important thing that you should NEVER neglect. No matter how good your product or how awesome your store is, if you failed in customer service specially in the after sale you might get a bad review or feedback and that is so not good to your business image.

  • The delivery of your item, how fast the item get to your client and the well being of the item received are very important. Also watch for lost, returns and damaged products.

That's it for today.Your Quick Reference: Starting Your Online Homebased Business in The Philippines will be writing more soon regarding each topics and tips on how to get suppliers, products and more.

So you want to be an Article Writer?

So you want to be a writer?

I know it’s not only me who thought that writing is a really exciting thing to do. Its fun how you can create your own book or article just from your own thoughts. It’s like you have your own world that only you can control. Especially in creative writing or novel writing. But you might think there must be a requirements or degree to be a writer right? Like major in journalism?

For some instances yes. But the good news is in a homebased Job or virtual job world YOU can be a writer whatever your degree is or even if you don’t have one. Want to know how? Below are the simple steps or tips that I can share to those that are only beginning in article writing world. These are tried and tested and you can apply it but along the way I’m sure you’ll have your own technique.

  1. You need to sign up to virtual job portal
  2. Some examples are elance, odesk etc.
  3. Once you are signed up and ready your profile
  4. You must look for an article writing job.  But be careful when choosing. Some “fixed” jobs are often scam. Meaning they will let you work and then won’t pay you. For a start to be safe always choose the “hourly” jobs.
  5. Let say you already have an assignment. The employer gave you a writing task
  6. There is always a “Keyword” that they want to utilize in an article. For example “Medical Practitioner” or “baby dress” and they will tell you the number of words.
  7. Search for the keyword on Google or any search engine that you preferred
  8. The thing is you don’t have to think so hard to come up let say with 500 words article. You just need to find an article related to your “topic” or “keywords” and then re-write it, make sure you don’t re-write a single article. You might be flag for plagiarism and that’s very ugly to your career. You just have to re-write 1 paragraph and then look for another to re-write another single paragraph or sentence until you reached your target number of words. And as you re-write include the keywords given to you. You can also add your own thoughts but make sure to stay on the given topic.

You might ask, why can’t I just write an article without keywords? The answer is the keywords are the most important part any content. It is the only way your article can be found in a search engine and if your article is being found the results are visitors or customers if that article is intend for selling and this technique I’m sharing with you is called “SEO Article Writing” which will be very useful for you in the long run.

What if I can’t get a job in any virtual jobs like elance or odesk? You can have other options.

1. You can apply to jobstreet, bestjobs.ph these classified job sites have many online jobs available you just have to keep trying

2. You can apply to iwriter.com well the income is not that much but it is per article so work hard so you can reach your target income. Make sure you have your paypal account.

So there you go if you want to be an article writer or SEO article writer you just need to have a research talent and re-write the article that you found which is related to your topic or keywords. Hope this will help those newbie out there. If you have any questions just fill in the comment box. Enjoy! J

How to cash your Clickbank Check in the Philippines

How to cash your Clickbank Check in the Philippines

ClickBank Check
When you got your very first check from ClickBank Affiliate program, the next question will be - so what will I do next? Below are the frequently questions that we will answer shortly:

Note: The sample check is for demonstration purpose only. Details are being hidden to avoid violating any ClickBank's policy.

  1.  How can I in cash my ClickBank dollar check here in the Philippines?
  2. Can I just deposit it to my ordinary peso savings account?
  3. Which bank in the Philippines accepts Clickbank dollar check?
  4.  How will I open a dollar savings account in the Philippines to deposit my Clickbank dollar check?

How can I in cash my ClickBank dollar check here in the Philippines?
You can’t in cash your ClickBank dollar check directly or over the counter. The best and easy way to in cash your check is to open a “Dollar Savings Account” there will be a 21 banking days clearing period before your check is cleared after it has been deposited.

Can I just deposit it to my ordinary peso savings account?
Yes you can deposit your clickbank dollar check directly to your peso account like for example in BPI. BUT take note there will be a huge amount of clearing fee ranging from minimum of Php 1,300 and above. In my own experience I got a dollar check worth $27.05 and they told me if I don’t have a dollar account there will be a Php 1,300 fee. So it will not be worth it if the amount of your check is not that much.

Which bank in the Philippines accepts Clickbank dollar check?
Well this is the great part. As long as you have a “Dollar Savings Account” any check that is in dollar currency can be deposited to any bank that you have a dollar savings account. But the most popular are BDO and BPI.

How will I open a dollar savings account in the Philippines to deposit my Clickbank dollar check?
Okay now that we established that the easiest way to deposit your dollar check from clickbank affiliate program is opening a dollar savings account, the next question will be how to open a dollar savings account in the Philippines?

>>First choose the bank you want to open your dollar account – I recommend these two banks -  BPI and BDO.

>>Know the requirements:

BPI Requirements:
-1 pc 1x1 Picture
-2 valid picture government ID’s
-Proof of Billing
-Maintaning Balance $500

BDO Requirements:
-2 valid picture with signature government ID’s
-Proof of billing
-Brgy. Clearance
-Opening $200
-Maintaining Balance $500
-Landline number

In BDO or Banco de Oro you will not need a picture because they will personally take a picture of you there. As you can see it is easy to open in BPI or Bank of Philippine Islands.  But I chose BDO. Why? Because I was afraid to buy dollars to the black market, worried I might end up with a fake dollar (This is my only personal reason) So I need a bank to buy dollar or sell my pesos. I already have an account to BPI so I can buy dollar there and deposit to OTHER bank which is BDO.

You may ask why? Why not just buy dollar to BPI and open a dollar savings account there? The answer is IT IS NOT ALLOWED. Every bank has this policy that you CANNOT buy dollar on the same bank and deposit it in the same bank. But you can buy dollar to other bank and deposit it to another different bank. Please don’t try to lie or deceive the bank, trust me they can trace the dollar serial numbers.

Okay so you picked a bank and you already have the requirements. The next steps will be elementary. Just go the bank and open an account.

Tip: Do not say that you’re opening a dollar savings account for your affiliate job or dollar check. Just say you just need it for personal savings. Why? To avoid further interview and additional requirements. You can also have either VISA or Mastercard together with your passbook just ask the personnel about it.

Then once you got your account, you can deposit your dollar check the next banking days or on the same day. But I deposited it the next day since I didn’t mentioned about my dollar check (The choice is yours). Then now you’re done!

Please note: ClickBank dollar check will only valid for 90 days. So you must act fast.

Now there you go, that’s how you will deposit or cash your ClickBank Affliate dollar check here in the Philippines. Hope it will help you a lot.

Steps in Starting to Work Home based

Some people would think that home based jobs are for lazy people who want to slack whenever possible. For easy job it might be true but not to totally slack. If you’re done with your job why not? But there are jobs that more often than not you lack sleep just to make it done. The conveniences of home based jobs are having not to travel from home to office, doesn’t need to dress to kill, No traffic, no commute, you can eat any time, when your work is done you can do anything right away; you can have extra jobs and many more. But it is a serious job like the other. It’s just the location and perks that makes the difference. That made it so convenient and challenging at the same time.

     1.  Have a stable internet and reliable computer. It is very important to have stable internet and a reliable computer. It will gradually affect your performance and productivity. Also your credibility as an employee. Not because this is a home based job doesn’t mean it’s not a serious work. Reality is, it is more serious than office job. Why? You are responsible for all the things that you need to get your job done. Unlike in the office everything is given to you. Here in Home based job world, you need to maintain everything in perfect shape to make them work for you. You have to maintain a good computer, internet, microphone/headset, webcam etc. It’s all up to you. It is not good to say you didn’t work because you have power interruption, your computer has virus, your mouse isn’t working and the rest. It’s work and its business.

2.       Have a career goal. What are your skills? What job do you want to work on? You can’t apply as a computer programmer if you don’t know a single computer program language. You can’t be a Japanese translator if you don’t know anything about Japanese language. Be realistic.

3.       Update your resume and send it to online job portals. Create your profile to job search websites. Make sure that your picture is updated and also the previous jobs you had. Some people are not comfortable putting their pictures but it is necessary to have it on your profile. The employer will get an impression that you are not confident enough or has insecurity problem that will really affect your application. Attitude is the most important thing in home based jobs. You will not physically in the presence of your employer, at least you need to build a trust and confidence about getting the job done. Make sure your picture is taken professionally. Or you look professional on it.

4.        Apply to job posts online. Apply at your own risk. Check the salary, job description and requirements. Read before you press “Apply Button”. A NO SHOW in your scheduled interview might get you in trouble in your future applications. Some job site will have you blacklisted.

5.       Be ready for your interview. Prepare everything that is needed. Do your homework. Meaning search about the company you are applying for. Practice for the common interview questions. Have your resume ready so you can read it if possible especially if the question is about your past jobs and descriptions of those. Make sure your headset / microphone, webcam etc are working and your internet is in good speed.

6.       When you get hired, always work to impress. Home based job is a virtual world. Your employer might give you a good or bad feedback according to your performance and might affect your future endeavor.

Homebased Job Search: Learn a New Language

The most popular way to earn money online is being a language translator or interpreter. There are many employers who are looking for someone who knows to translate written documents to other languages. Some employer hires someone to be with them in a part-time basis to be their translator. The best thing about this type of opportunity is the salary. You can do your own salary research for this and you’ll be surprised how a language translator job can give you that financial freedom you always crave for.

So you want to be a language translator? Here are a few things to consider in getting that dream job.

1.  What language do you want to focus on? - There are lots of languages to choose from. But take note, the harder to learn the language, the better pay you get. Why? As simple as because it’s hard, not everyone is willing to learn it. So the demand is very high.  Now a day the most popular translator jobs are translating in Japanese and Spanish language. There are many around there but these two are the easiest so far. In Japanese there are many certifications that you need to have before you reach the highest paying title the “N1”. In Spanish there are also modules, but it is easier since the writing and alphabet is almost similar to English alphabet that we used every day.

2. How will you learn the new language? – It is easy to choose a language. It is also easy to enroll to a program or school to learn it as long as you have the budget. But all these will come to waste if you don’t have the discipline, patience, time and perseverance to learn. It’s not like walking in a park. But it will be very fulfilling if you succeed in learning it.

3. When can you learn the new language? - This will depends on your budget and time. You can enroll to a University or institution and go to class physically. What are the pros of this? The learning is interactive. Questions and answers are instant and you have classmates which you can ask opinion and practice. What are the cons? You will be obliged to come to school / class. You need to pay for transportation, the tuition is way too high and more often than not it will hinder any plans you have for yourself and family if you are already working and you have your own family to take good care of.

4.  Is there an online platforms or class that I can take to learn a new language? – The answer is a big YES. Please take note that you can buy books to learn a new language, you can research or download materials from the internet or anything that is free online BUT you cannot get the certification for free. You need to enroll to a program or institution, pass the qualification and then get that Diploma or certificate. So if you’re looking for an online school or program below are suggestions to the languages and along with it the link to the course. It is very affordable. It’s more convenient to learn online. How Do You Deal with Job Application Rejection?

Yes, I’m asking you. I know that if not all, almost all of us who experienced being interviewed had also their piece of rejection when it comes to getting the job we want.

The common scenario is like this, you saw the job post then send your resume and suddenly the interview invites came to your inbox.  You were so excited. Prepared for the interview and after the interview the HR sent email to your inbox saying:

“Thank you for the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your qualifications for the position this position
We understand that you have skills that may indeed be an asset to the company. However, we have concluded that another candidate's qualifications more closely match our requirements. We sincerely regret that we cannot offer you employment with our organization at this time.

We appreciate your interest and the time you have invested and you have our best wishes for success in locating the career opportunity that you deserve.” Looks familiar?

Well, technically rejection letter differs but the bottom line is “You didn't get the job!”

Being rejected will give some people inferiority complex or they will lose self confidence. Let’s face it. Self confidence is very hard to build and having a feeling that you are not qualified enough will tremendously damage your self confidence. It’s not healthy to pity yourself but it’s the only resort some people always cling to whenever they didn't get what they want.

So how do you deal with rejection really?

When it comes to job here’s a few tips:

1. Be positive! The world doesn't end with just one interview rejection and there are lots of jobs out there that will sure fits your qualification.

2. Don’t ever give up! Learning doesn't ends in school. Every day life is teaching us new things. Rejection may be the hardest lesson but come to think of it, you will learn a lot from it.

3. Open your mind to new opportunities and new skills. Every day our technology has something new to offer. Have you ever ask yourself, what it is that you can offer? Learn new things. Update your skills and knowledge. So that the next time an interviewee asks you about your skills they will be amazed!

4. Be creative! Try new media to market your resume. You can try video resume. The good thing about video resume is that you can practice how to face the camera and be confident what skills you have to offer. Also, the best part is, some initial interview will be skipped because you already covered it on your video resume. Isn't it great?

5. The last tip is, apply for the job that either you have passion or experience. Interviewee is a natural psychology. They will sense if you really love to do the job or you’re just applying for the sake of having a job.

Jobs You Can Do At Home or Online

Tired of daily routine work? The same routine you have to gone through every single working day? You wake up, groom yourself for work, get stuck on traffic, greet your boss, do your assigned work, mingle with your office mates during office breaks, and all the things that you do during your 8 hours work. Eight long and tiring hours of work.
It’s okay if you have a job that you really love and enjoy. But, What if you get stuck on a job that you hate? You know what I mean right? You have an irate boss, lots of deadlines, and if you are working in a customer service department – irate customers. It’s fine to have a really tough job. But do the toughness being paid off? Is it worth it?
Those are just some of the questions you might ask yourself when you’re not happy with your work anymore or not happy at all. Some of the questions people asked to themselves before they quit their jobs.
Okay, how about if you’re one of the unemployed citizens. You have bills to pay. You got a mouth to feed and everything that regarding to financial issues. What will you do? Yeah, this situation is very frustrating the reasons why many people choose to suffer to jobs they don’t really like at all just for the sake of having a living.
But there are many options that you may choose from, aside from working with a boss or being in the office. I will name the most effective and popular two options. The first one is having your own business that you may run to the comfort of your home and second one, take a freelance online job.
If you were to run your own business isn’t it nice that you don’t have to go to an office where you are just an employee, to have a boss or to have a file of deadlines? You are your own boss. But of course since you are your own boss you have to work hard or else all the money you invested will be put to nothing. Plan your future business very well before you start it. Choose the one that you really like. Or else you might end up hating it too just like having an irate boss.
And the second one is taking a freelance online job. There are tones of freelance jobs online. You can do it in your home as long as you have your own computer and internet connection. You can choose from data entry jobs, customer service, SEO, article writing and many more. But make sure that the job you will work on is from a legit site or company. There are many scammers out there so be careful. Sometimes they’ll ask you to do the job then won’t pay you. So be very careful.
It doesn't matter what your really job is. Whether you’re working in an office or at home neither if you’re salary is good or bad. What matter is as long as the job your doing for a living fits your financial needs and as long as you’re happy working on it, just go and make the best of it. Nobody is perfect. This applies too to everything. Always remember, there is no easy job. The only reason you’ll find it easy is because you’re enjoying it.
